The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) is an apex body established by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, for the promotion of exports of handmade carpets and other floor coverings. The Council has more than 2000 member-exporters from across India. The primary objective of the Council is to promote and expand the export of Indian handmade carpets and floor coverings worldwide.

“INDIA CARPET EXPO”, the flagship event of the Council, started in the year 2000 and is held twice a year. Over the years, it has become one of the most prominent international fairs for buyers of handmade carpets, rugs, and floor coverings. Manufacturers and exporters from major carpet-producing regions such as Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Panipat, and Srinagar participate in the Expo to showcase their diverse range of products.

The 50th edition of INDIA CARPET EXPO will be held from 11–14 April 2026 at the NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi (India). The Expo is one of the largest carpet trade fairs in Asia, where more than 200 prominent handmade carpet manufacturers and exporters will showcase their complete range of handmade carpets, rugs, and other floor coverings. The event is expected to attract over 500 overseas buyers from more than 60 countries.

To facilitate and encourage participation of overseas buyers, the Council is offering the following complimentary package to selected international buyers of handmade carpets and rugs:

• Two (2) nights’ complimentary hotel accommodation (room with breakfast) in New Delhi between 10th and 14th April 2026
• Shuttle service between the hotel and the fairground (NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi)
