About Us Police Clearance Certificate

As per the new guidelines related to the issuance of the Police Clearance Certificate, applicants may please note that PCC will be issued by Embassy only after obtaining the FRESH POLICE VERIFICATION report from India.

  1. The verification may take up to 30 days or more. Thus, everyone is advised to apply for PCC well in advance considering the time required in issuing the same.

    Filling up of Online Application Form

Application to be filled online, using the website: - https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in;  

Steps to be followed: 

  1. Open https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in; and click on Register. A tab down will open.

  2. Select Embassy/Consulate as Croatia-Zagreb. Fill in all the other details to create your account and click on register at the bottom in the end. Please remember your login ID as you will need it later to log in to your account.

  3. An account activation link will be sent to your email ID.

  4. Open your email ID and click on the activation link, enter your email ID & click on activation below. Your account will be successfully created after this.

  5. Now open the https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in again and click on User log in. Please log in using the User ID created by you during the registration step.

  6. After successful log in, applicant’s home page will open. Please choose the service you need to apply for.

  7. If you are applying for Police Clearance Certificate. Please click on  Apply for Police Clearance Certificate.

  8. Please fill all the details and do final submit and take a print out of your application. Don't use Special characters while entering details in the Online Registration form.

NB: Please ensure that all the entries in the online form are correct.

Note- In the application, there are two addresses, one has to be an Indian address, while other local (i.e. Croatian) address.

Fee is payable only in cash at the reception counter of the Embassy while submitting the application.

Fees once deposited shall not be refunded.

(3) Submission of Application and Documents at the Embassy:

Submit the following documents in person at Embassy of India, 152B, Bijenik, Zagreb.

Documents required for Indian Passport holders-

* Printed and signed above written application form.
* A letter explaining reason to apply for PCC along with contact number and email id.
* Self-attested photocopy of front and last page of the Indian passport.
* Self attested copy of resident card along with the Original.
* Two recent  5 x 5 cm size photographs with white background

Document submission time: Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 11.30 am.

 (3) Collection Procedure for Police Clearance certificate:

Police Clearance Certificate may be collected from the Embassy, on receipt of Embassy’s intimation email. Please bring your receipt for collection.
