Holders of non-Croatian passports applying for Indian visa other than tourist visa may please note that their applications for such visas will be processed by Embassy of India Zagreb only if they have resided in Croatia for more than 2 years on the date of application. Those who do not fulfil this criterion must apply to the Indian Mission in their country of origin.
All visitors to India may note that satellite telephone services are not permitted in India unless specifically authorized by the Government of India and use of handsets of Thuraya, Irridium and other such satellite operators is prohibited under the relevant Indian laws. Any person, including foreign tourists / visitors, found to be making unauthorized use of satellite telephone services will be prosecuted and the sets found in their possesion will be seized.
Any person seeking a visa to India for the purpose of entering into a surrogacy arrangement must ascertain beforehand whether the law of the applicant's country permits surrogacy and will provide appropriate travel documents to the child for accompanying the surrogate parents. Entering into surrogacy arrangements under any other visa not sought for surrogacy is punishable under Indian law.
