One Yet Separete" was inspired by the prose poem "Shadow" by the Croatian novelist Antun Gustav Matoš, and all newly created, purpose-made works for its first presentation in Croatia bear the marks of Matoš's poems “Bajaderin grob”, “Napast”, “Nokturno” and “Prkos”, that is, the author's pictorial transcription of the words of Matoš's poems in manuscript (digitized material from the Collection of Manuscripts and Old Books of the National and University Library in Zagreb).
