They discussed the continuation of cooperation based on the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding in the field of agriculture and related sectors.

They discussed the continuation of cooperation based on the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding in the field of agriculture and related sectors.
The aforementioned Memorandum was signed on 18 June 2025 as part of the visit of Indian Prime Minister Modi to the Republic of Croatia. It was proposed that both sides identify potential topics and interests for cooperation.

The Republic of Croatia's interest in cooperation with India is the export of apples, cereals, spices, citrus fruits, and fish and fish products to the Indian market. Namely, there is a expressed interest from companies in exporting apple fruits (and fruit seedlings) from the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of India.

The Ambassador also expressed interest in cooperation in the field of forestry, through research projects and examples of good practice.
