Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and Minister of Defense Ivan Anušić met on November 13, 2025, at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia with the Ambassador of India to Croatia, Arun Goel.

The meeting discussed possibilities for strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries, global security challenges, the situation in Southeast Europe, and current modernization projects of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia. Minister Anušić thanked Ambassador Goel for the visit and said that he sees room for further strengthening the partnership between Croatia and India. They discussed possibilities for cooperation in the field of defense industry. In this context, Minister Anušić presented Croatian manufacturers of high-quality military equipment. Minister Anušić also spoke about the importance of developing maritime capabilities through the project to procure a multi-purpose corvette ship, which will significantly strengthen the Croatian Navy.
