In Day-1 of the 1st International Yoga and Ayurveda Conference being held in Zagreb, two plenary sessions were organized on 4th October. The following presentations were made in the first plenary session:

Dr. Manmath Manohar Gharote, Director of The Lonavla Yoga Institute - Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine in Public Health-India’s Experience. 
Dr. Suresh Swarnapuri, President of Association Europe Ayurveda Academy, France - Ayurveda for prevention and Treatment of NCDs “Case Studies of benefits of Ayurvedic treatments”. 
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Suryananda Saraswati Yogacharya Amadio Bianchi Maharaj - Ayurveda for Health and Endurance “Practical approach of Ayurveda and Yoga”. 
Professor Marijana Zovko Koncic, PhD, Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, Department of Pharmacology, University of Zagreb - “Science and tradition of East and West as aid against respiratory infections”.
