 Ambassador Srivastava explained several initiatives of the GoI in his short presentation on “Role of Women in India’s Transformational Journey in the next 25 years” which included the efforts of the last decade showing great results in inclusive sustainable growth being witnessed in India. In the next 25 years, women will contribute their might in making India a frontline state by 2047 when India celebrates its 100th year of Independence, concluded the Ambassador. While Dorotea šušak, Director of the Center for Woman Studies, also praised India's progress in minimizing the gender gap. Lastly, the president of the Joginder Singh-Nijjar President, Croatian Indian Society also welcomed & thanked the guests in this well-attended gathering
