Viksit Bharat Run 2025 – Zagreb
September 28, 2025
The Embassy of India in Zagreb organised the Viksit Bharat Run 2025 on 28 September 2025 at Park Ribnjak, Zagreb, as part of the fortnight-long synchronised global initiative “Viksit Bharat Run”.
The 3 km Community Marathon brought together members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India in Croatia to celebrate India’s developmental journey, promote awareness of Government initiatives for the diaspora, and highlight India’s soft power through cultural and community engagement.
Highlights of the programme:
- Pledge for Viksit Bharat & Aatmanirbhar Bharat led by H.E. Mr. Arun Goel, Ambassador of India to Croatia
- 3 km Community Run with enthusiastic participation
- T-shirts, participation certificates & refreshments for registered participants
- Networking & cultural exchange after the run
This initiative, led globally by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the Ministry of External Affairs, spans 91 countries and aims to inspire collective action towards building a Viksit Bharat by 2047. A heartfelt thanks to all participants who joined us with great enthusiasm and community spirit.
