Bharat ko Janiye (Know India) Quiz 2018-19

The Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India is organizing the Second Edition of “Bharat Ko Janiye” Quiz. The quiz is now made open to foreign nationals, under foreign national category, besides PIO and NRI youths. The age of participation in the quiz is between 15-35 years. The last date for registration is 15 September 2018.
2. The 1st round of quiz will be conducted online by the Embassy from 16-30 September. Overseas contestants can appear the Quiz test from anywhere or any part of the world during this period. There is no need to visit Embassy to take the test. The top three participants of the 1st round will qualify for the 2nd round. The 2nd round will be conducted by Ministry of External Affairs (online). The 3rd and 4th rounds of quiz will be conducted by the Ministry in India in two stages (Semi-Final and Final).
3. It is mandatory for the candidate to complete online registration at portal https://www.bharatkojaniye.in/ in order to participate in the online/offline quiz to be conducted by the Embassy. The participants are required to generate a unique user name and password by registering online at the portal.
4. The top 3 winners of each (NRI, PIO and foreign national) category at Embassy level would be given medals by the Embassy and would participate in the second round of quiz (online) to be conducted by the Ministry. Top finalists of each category would also be selected on the basis of marks secured in 2nd round and they would be invited to participate in the 3rd (Semi final) and 4th (Final) round in India. They would also attend the workshop in New Delhi and participate in the Bharat ko Janiye Yatra – a 15 day tour of India at Government of India’s expenses. Top 3 winners of each category will be awarded Gold/Silver/Bronze medals at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in January 2019 at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
