Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2026 is scheduled to be held from 23–25 October 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. BIRC 2026 is a premier event focused on the sustainable cultivation, processing, and export promotion of Indian rice. It will bring together more than 3,500 global industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to address challenges and explore opportunities across the rice value chain.
The event will provide a unique platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in the rice industry. Jointly organised by APEDA and the Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF), it will bring together the entire rice ecosystem - including producers, processors, exporters, startups, value-added innovators, shipping and logistics providers, quality surveyors, and financial institutions.
India, the world's largest rice exporter, exported 20.19 million metric tonnes in 2024–25, underscoring its dominant role in global rice trade. BIRC 2026 will be the platform to build on this momentum, share innovations, address trade challenges, and unlock new market opportunities.
