International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrated at the iconic Fortica Fortress, Hvar 

10 July 2026 marked a memorable celebration of the International Day of Yoga at the magnificent Fortica Fortress in Hvar, under this year’s global theme, “Yoga for Healthy and Active Ageing.”

The Embassy of India in Croatia was honoured to be a part of this special event in the presence of H.E. Mr. Arun Goel, Ambassador of India to Croatia, bringing together yoga practitioners, local residents, and visitors for an inspiring evening dedicated to wellness, harmony, and mindfulness against the breathtaking backdrop of Hvar.

We are especially proud that this marks the second consecutive year that the International Day of Yoga has been celebrated at the historic Fortica Fortress, further strengthening the cultural ties and friendship between India and Croatia.

The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to the Hvar Tourist Board and the Public Institution in Culture HVAR 1612 for their valuable cooperation.
