Official visit to Grožnjan Municipality | 4 November 2026

The Ambassador of India paid an official visit to the Municipality of Grožnjan, where he was warmly welcomed by the Mayor, Mr Claudio Stocovaz. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening friendly ties and on opportunities for cooperation, particularly in culture and tourism.
The meeting was followed by a guided tour of the town’s historic centre. The Ambassador walked through its stone streets, visited its art galleries and enjoyed its scenic viewpoints. Grožnjan is renowned for its artistic spirit and welcoming community, which makes it an ideal setting for cultural exchange. The Embassy discussed the possibility of hosting Indian artistic troupes in the town.
The Embassy thanks the Mayor and the Municipality for their warm hospitality and for their openness to exploring new avenues of cooperation.
