Official visit to Višnjan Observatory on 4 November 2026
November 04, 2026
The Ambassador of India visited the Višnjan Observatory and met its founder, Mr Korado Korlević. The visit included an introduction to the Observatory’s astronomical research, its scientific activities and its educational programmes.
The Observatory is respected for inspiring young people to take an interest in science, and for its work in astronomy. The discussion touched on the potential for greater cooperation in science and education, which are areas where India and Croatia can learn from each other.
The Embassy thanks Mr Korlević and his team for the informative visit and the warm welcome.
