The event on the occasion of India's National Mathematics Day, 135th Birth Anniversary of legendary Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan & on Christmas Eve to celebrate India-Croatia Mathematics ties organized on 22nd December 2022 at Napredak in cooperation with the Embassy of India, Zagreb & the Croatian-Indian Society. After the welcome speech by Ambassador Srivastava and Joginder Singh-Nijjar, President of the Croatian-Indian Society, prominent Croatian Mathematicians, Prof. Hrvoje Kraljevic Former Croatian  Minister of Science & Technology, Prof. Tadić Marko, Academician, Prof. Neven Elezovic, Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Computing (FER) in Zagreb, Prof. Marcela Hanzer, Professor at the Department of Mathematics, PMF Zagreb Sveučilište u Zagrebu, Rudi Mrazovic, Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb, spoke at length how Srinivasa Ramanujan and another Indian mathematician Harish-Chandra have inspired many Croatian Mathematician and therefore contributed to the India-Croatian relations in the field of mathematics. The event, being celebrated on Christmas Eve concluded with some spiritual songs and feast for the participants underlying the theme One World, One Family.
