May 25, 2025 - Ambassador Arun Goel visited the island of Hvar and met with Ms. Valentina Belaj Šantić, Director of the Hvar Tourist Board. During the meeting, both officials discussed Hvar's potential as an ideal destination for Bollywood film screenings and explored ways to support the local community through cultural and tourism-related initiatives.

As a prelude to the central celebration of the International Day of Yoga, Mohanji Croatia, in collaboration with the Embassy of India and in the presence of H.E. Mr. Arun Goel, Ambassador of India, participated in a special yoga workshop for children held on June 10th at Monte Zaro Primary School in the city of Pula.
Mayor Grbin welcomed Ambassador Goel, saying that it was an exceptional honour for him to host him at the first official reception at the Municipal Palace since he took office as mayor.
International Day of Yoga (IDY)
As part of his official visit to the island of Hvar, Ambassador of India to Croatia, H.E. Mr. Arun Goel, met with the newly elected Mayor of Stari Grad, Mr. Vinko Vranjican, to explore avenues for deeper cooperation between India and this historic Dalmatian town.
Ambassador Mr. Arun Goel met with the Mayor of Hvar, Mr. Rikardo Novak, during an official visit to Hvar. Discussions focused on deepening India-Croatia relations through cultural, educational, and tourism exchanges.
Ambassador Arun Goel met with Mr. Tonči Gulišija, a yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience, to discuss preparations for the upcoming International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 celebration scheduled for June.
Ambassador Arun Goel participated in the International Day of Yoga 2025 celebration held at Tvrđava Fortica on the island of Hvar on May 25th, with strong support from the Hvar Tourist Board.
Ambassador Arun Goel visited the island of Brač, where he met with Mr. Ante Trutanić, Director of the Bol Tourist Board, to discuss various opportunities for cooperation between India and Croatia in the field of tourism and preparations for #IDY2025.
