International Day of Yoga 2025 Celebrated at Bundek, Zagreb

On Saturday, June 21st, 2025, the central celebration of the International Day of Yoga took place in the green surroundings of Bundek Park in Zagreb under the theme “Yoga for One Earth and One Health.”
The event began at 9:00 AM with a short address by the Ambassador of India to Croatia, H.E. Mr. Arun Goel, who highlighted yoga as a universal practice that fosters harmony of body, mind, and spirit and its growing role in promoting global health and unity.
Ms. Andrea Pintar, Senior Expert Advisor for Sports from the City Office for Education, Sports and Youth, greeted attendees on behalf of the City of Zagreb and emphasised the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life as a tool for wellbeing and balance.
The event was supported by several organisations, including Yogi Amandeep Singh from Kundalini Yoga, Yoga in Daily Life, the Croatian Yoga Federation, Mohanji Croatia, and Art of Living, among many others. Around 120 participants joined the session, creating an atmosphere of peace, unity, and mindful movement. The program concluded with light refreshments and socialising in the serene setting of Bundek.
