The official opening of the Exhibition of the Art Competition by Young Artists of ŠPUD »Creating Bridges Through Art« was held in the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla on the 24th January. The Work of Art by Young Hearts was organized in partnership of the Embassy of India, Zagreb, the dedication of mentors and students of the School of Applied Art and Design in Zagreb (ŠPUD), and the support of Technical Museum of Nikola Tesla and the Croatian-Indian Friendship Society. The opening gathered several distinguished guests amongst which were the former Croatian Presidents, H.E. Mr. Ivo Josipović, H.E. Mr. Stjepan Mesić, representatives of the diplomatic corps, Ministry of Culture and Media and Ms. Ivan Milardović Štimac, as the representative of the City of Grad Zagreb.

The event was opened by Ambassador Srivastava who explained the background of the past endeavours with the 2022 established India's Corner at šPUD which interest of students & mentors was marked in January 2022 by gifting 75 congratulation postcards to the Prime Minister of India and to the people of India. The Art competition »Creating Bridges Through Art« lasted from the 18th of September 2023 until the 1st of December 2023, where it was proposed to showcase India through 5 themes: 1) The World is One Family 2) India's Transformation and Space Research for Humanity 3) How to use Technology for your Advantages 4) NikolaTesla - Bharat 5) Mission Life.
