June 10, 2025 - Mayor Grbin welcomed Ambassador Goel, saying that it was an exceptional honour for him to host him at the first official reception at the Municipal Palace since he took office as mayor.
Ambassador Goel said that Istria is his favourite vacation destination and that he always enjoys returning there with his family, emphasising that his goal is to popularise Istria as a vacation destination for tourists from India, especially during May and June, when Indians travel most often. The meeting continued with discussions on possibilities for future cooperation and ways of exchanging experiences and examples of good practice in areas of common interest. As part of today's visit to Pula, he also participated in the celebration of International Yoga Day at the Monte Zaro Elementary School in Pula, organised by Mohanji Croatia.
